Let us welcome Bishop Paul (Pablo) Burson, our new Presiding Bishop of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion (ECC). He will be visiting us on January 29, 2023 during the 10:30 unity mass, and after mass in the Gathering Hall. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet him!
About Bishop Pablo:
- He is a long-time friend of our own Bishop Peter, was a member of Saint Matthew in
the 1990’s and was married at Saint Matthew in 1996. His wife Rosa is from Mexico,
and they have two adult children. - He is a fluent Spanish speaker, has a multi-cultural background, and is engaged in the
Hispanic Community. - He was a missionary in Guatemala working as a pastor to over 40 towns and Mayan
villages, serving as a Roman Catholic Priest within the Vincentian order. - Over the last 25 years he has helped to form and teach college students at several
Catholic Universities.
