An Introduction to the New Testament

Description:

In this study, we will explore how we received the New Testament.

•   How did it develop, and how did it come to us in the form we read today?

•   We will study all four Gospels, along with the Petrine, Pauline, Johannine, and Pastoral traditions.

We will also consider how Scripture is viewed across various Christian traditions and how interpretation has developed over time.

• Please continue to keep a distance of 6 feet from those not in your household.

Join in our 2026 Growing Together Drawing for the chance to win! We will be selling 100 tickets at $50.00 each. These drawings will be held the last Sunday of each month. The first drawing will be on Sunday, January 25, 2026 and the final drawing will be on December 27, 2026. Each winner’s ticket will be re-entered for subsequent monthly drawings.

All winners will be announced after the 9:30 am mass.

Join us at our church hall for an American Red Cross blood drive and help ensure patients in need get another chance. A single donation can save up to three lives, and the whole process takes less than an hour. All blood types are welcome, walk-ins or scheduled donors alike. Bring a photo ID, roll up your sleeve, and let’s show our community’s heart in action—see you at the drive!

Saint Matt’s will be hosting three blood drives in the church hall during the following dates/times.
