Greetings beloved members of Saint Matthew Ecumenical Catholic Church,

Jesus began His mission by calling disciples who would be formed into a team of co-workers. Jesus said, “I will build my Church…” The way that Jesus built His Church was through the willing participation of the disciples who had become His co-workers in the enterprise of Church building. We, too, are called to be disciples of Jesus in order to become His co-workers in the building up of His Church.

We invite you to join us in this noble endeavor of establishing a Catholic church that is progressive, inclusive, and committed to peace and justice. A church that welcomes anyone to be in relation with Jesus, and to experience the richness of Catholic worship in good conscience, regardless of their marital status, sexual preference, gender, identity, or social standing.

Let us respond to the invitation of Jesus together: Let us become His disciples and let us also become His co-workers in supporting our beloved faith community of Saint Matthew! Please join with us in ensuring that Saint Matthew Church will be here to serve many other generations after us!

We ask that you complete the Pledge Form (linked below) and return it immediately. If you pledged last year, we are asking that you re-commit for 2023, and for those of you that are able, increase your giving by 10 percent or more. We strive to keep the cost of our beloved church and ministry to a bare minimum, and we are asking for the 10 percent increase only to offset the rising cost of expenses and offset our shortfall.

With the help of YOUR pledge, Saint Matthew can continue Jesus mission of the building-up of a Catholic Church in which ALL ARE WELCOME.

With love and God’s Blessings,

Bishop Peter and Father Arturo
