Our See’s Candies Easter Fundraiser has begun and continues through April 4 (online orders) and April 6 (in-person orders)!

Saint Matthew is an Independent Catholic Church and continues to operate due to the support of our Faith Community and the generosity of your church friends. This is one of the many you can enjoy See’s Candy for Easter and support our church. The Saint Matthew’s Community Life and Fundraising Committee thanks you for your support!

Two Options to Purchase Candy:

(1) Visit our online storefront (Available until Friday, April 4, 2025): https://tinyurl.com/SaintMattsEasterCandy2025 – Items will ship to you or your family and friends. Online orders begin shipping as early as March 11, 2025.

(2) Pre-pay at church through Sunday, April 6, 2025: Jennie Guida will continue taking pre-paid orders at the church now and after the online storefront closes, and all orders placed through her will be delivered on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

The Great Peanut Butter Showdown has begun!

As we continue the cherished tradition during the season of Lent, we’re inviting you to join in the fun! Bring in your favorite peanut butter spread—whether creamy or crunchy—and let the friendly competition begin!

Peanut butter is one of the most requested items for those in need. Every jar you donate will go directly to WSWA, the organization we proudly support with our weekly food donations.

For those attending Mass in person, we can’t wait to see you there with your peanut butter of choice! And don’t worry—if you’re allergic to peanut butter, you can still be part of the action. Feel free to pick the one that catches your eye, and contribute to this worthy cause!

Rules:

• We’ll be counting by the ounce!
• All donations must be in by April 20, 2025.

Join in our 2025 New Year Resolution Raffle for the chance to win! We will be selling 100 tickets at $50.00 each. These drawings will be held the last Sunday of each month. The first drawing will be on Sunday, January 26, 2025 and the final drawing will be on December 28, 2025. Each winner’s ticket will be re-entered for subsequent monthly drawings.

All winners will be announced after the 9:30 am mass.

Please remember that each winner’s ticket with be re-entered for subsequent months’ drawings. This means there will be multiple chances to win $100!

Join us at 9:30 a.m. (English) and 12:30 p.m. (Spanish). On every 5th Sunday (for months that have 5 Sundays) we also have Unity Sunday at 10:30 PT (Multilingual) outside the church.

Please remember:

• Please stay home if you are sick, and join us at church when you are well again.
• Please wear a mask that covers both your nose and mouth. We will also be checking temperatures.
• Please continue to keep a distance of 6 feet from those not in your household.
• We will continue to have our food drive every Sunday.
